One of the largest environments I have made in quite some time. The focus of this environment was to practice creating modular buildings since I rarely ever do exteriors, I also wanted to play with different lighting scenarios having both a day version and night version. To reinforce the fact that there is a plague infesting the town I needed to create a simple character which challenged me since I have never tried making a realistic human however it proved to be both a fun challenge and learning experience. The town itself was constructed with a simple kit I created using simple geometry and one tiling texture. The foliage and terrain props were largely created through the newly available megascans library which allowed me to focus more on the larger elements of the scene such as the houses and castle. For some of the filler props, I utilised the fantasy village prop.
